Nate Caldwell

Nate Caldwell (he/him/his) is the director of Chorus, Keyboarding and Musical Theatre at Ocoee High School in Orlando, having earned the B.M.E. from the Florida State University College of Music in 2022. 

At Ocoee High School, Mr. Caldwell has developed the Choral program from less than 70 students to over 200 musicians that uphold a culture of integrity, artistry, and community. In addition to running the Chorus program, Mr. Caldwell also serves as the Music Director for the Ocoee Knights Theatre Company, which houses Orange County Public School’s Technical Theatre Scholastic Academy. 

He is an active member of FVA and ACDA, serving as the Florida ACDA Social Media Liaison and is a member of the Festival Singers of Florida as well as Orlando Sings Symphonic Chorus. He has previously presented at the FVA Summer Seminar regarding the first few years of teaching and was featured as the Orange Observer’s Influencer of the Week as well as Ocoee High School’s 2023 Rookie of the Year. 

Mr. Caldwell looks forward to serving the state of Florida alongside the people that raised him to love music and music education.
