Jenilee Hallam

Jenilee Hallam is currently in her seventh year at Swift Creek Middle School in Tallahassee, and her tenth year teaching. She received the B.M.E. and M.M.E. in Choral Music Education from the Florida State University College of Music in 2007 and 2012.


At Swift Creek, she teaches Beginning Girls Chorus, Intermediate Girls Chorus, Mens Chorus, and Auditioned Girls Chorus. Additionally, she teaches Guitar and co-teaches Musical Theater with the Drama Director.


Ms. Hallam is an active member of FVA and ACDA, having served as FVA District 3 Chair from 2015-17, and is excited to begin serving on the ACDA board! Jenilee was also a member of the Festival Singers of Florida for eight years, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Fenton. She credits her love for choral music and involvement to her high school chorus teacher Karen Bradley, college mentor Dr. Judy Bowers, and supervising teacher Connie Drosakis.


Jenilee loves the beach and pool, bike riding, playing ping pong, traveling, and fixing up her adorable townhouse in Tallahassee!
